Who Is a Good Fit(and Who Is Not)

You may be a good candidate if:

    • • You're a Montana resident over 18
    • • You have a BMI of 27+ with related health conditions, or BMI 30+
    • • You've tried diet and exercise without lasting success
    • • You're committed to long-term lifestyle changes
    • • You're seeking evidence-based medical support

This program isn't for you if:

    • • You're looking for a quick fix without commitment
    • • You have certain medical conditions that contraindicate treatment
    • • You're pregnant or planning to become pregnant
    • • You live outside Montana

Your licensed Montana clinician will determine if treatment is appropriate after a comprehensive, individualized evaluation.

    How Medications May Be Used

    Educational information — not promotional

When clinically appropriate, your treatment plan may include FDA-approved medications such as GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide) or GIP + GLP-1 RA medications (tirzepatide). Foundayo® (orforglipron), the first oral GLP-1 pill, is also now available. These medications work by mimicking natural hormones that help regulate appetite and blood sugar.

Your clinician will conduct a thorough evaluation to determine if medication is appropriate for your specific situation. Many factors influence this decision, including your medical history, current medications, and health goals.

Like all medications, weight loss medications have potential side effects and are not suitable for everyone. Your licensed Montana clinician will discuss the benefits, risks, and alternatives during your consultation.
